Hymn For The Weekend è la nuova canzone dei Coldplay che duettano con Beyoncé. Il singolo sarà presentato al Super Bowl.
E’ stata presentata la nuova canzone dei Coldplay, Hymn For The Weekend, che vede la collaborazione di Beyoncé e sarà nella scaletta programmata per la serata del Super Bowl, che si terrà il prossimo 7 febbraio 2016 al Levi’s Stadium di Santa Clara, in California Il brano è estratto dal nuovo album della band inglese, A Head Full of Dreams, che è stato lanciato lo scorso 4 dicembre 2015. Hymn For The Weekend è accompagnato dal video ufficiale, pubblicato dai Coldplay sulla loro pagina ufficiale Facebook.
Il bassista dei Coldplay, Guy Berryman, in un’intervista, ha commentato la collaborazione di Beyoncé al brano Hymn For The Weekend: “Ha chiesto che Beyoncé cantasse in questo brano e lei molto gentilmente ha detto che l’avrebbe fatto. Ed è stato incredibile. Lei è arrivata, ha fatto la sua parte. E’ incredibilmente professionale. Penso che lei stata dentro e fuori in cinque minuti. Siamo così fortunati ad averla in uno dei nostri pezzi!”
I Coldplay saranno impegnati in un tour mondiale, che, purtroppo, ancora non prevede una data italiana. La serie di concerti dei Coldplay partiranno il 31 marzo 2016 da Buenos Aires, con il tour in America Latina, che avrà in totale sei tappe e terminerà il 16 aprile a Città del Messico. Mentre il tour europeo partirà il 24 maggio da Nizza e terminerà il 5 luglio 2016 a Copenhagen. Queste tutte le date del tour europeo dei Coldplay: Barcellona 26 maggio 2016, Gelsenkirchen 1 giugno 2016, Manchester 4 giugno 2016, Glasgow 7 giugno 2016, Zurigo 11 giugno 2016, Londra 16 e 18 giugno 2016, Amsterdam 23 giugno 2016, Berlino 29 giugno 2016, Amburgo 1 luglio 2016, Stoccolma 3 luglio 2016 e Copenhagen 5 luglio 2016.
